Soft Wash Power Washing
Peak Power Wash uses a technique called “Soft Wash”
At Peak Power Wash, we believe “less is more” when it comes to washing the siding of your home, deck, or fence. We use a cleaning technique called ‘soft washing’. This method uses a much lower amount of pressure and a higher volume of water, along with the correct combination of detergents. Soft washing reduces harm to surfaces. The high pressure method is becoming a ‘thing of the past’ in the pressure and power washing industry.
The Danger of High Pressure
Using high pressure can be dangerous on surfaces and cause irreversible results. It can also cause problems to what’s underneath the surface. The force of high pressure can separate or break the interlocking seal of vinyl siding. If water gets behind the siding, it creates an ideal breeding ground for mold.
Use caution when cleaning asbestos siding, a material that’s hazardous if broken. Also, damage can occur if too much pressure is used to clean a composite or wood deck, wooden fence, or cedar siding. For instance, scarring or splintering can result, leaving you with an ugly mess and costly repairs. High pressure can also break windows and the vapor barrier seals around them.
With our low-pressure, soft-washing technique, these issues won’t be a problem. We take precautions and use special care on every job we do.
The Secret to Soft Washing
At Peak Power Wash, we know the secret to soft washing lies in the chemistry of detergents. For every stain on a surface– whether it’s mold, mildew, clay, rust, or something else- there is a detergent to help break down and lift that stain. Peak Power Wash is a professional power washing company that strives to use the most biodegradable and environmentally friendly cleaners available.
